I have no idea where this painting came from, but it makes me so happy. And I think it all fits so well. Rhythmic gymnastics and rats just go together for me. They are both sort of underdogs in a way? And the loose expressive style of painting here adds to the childlike wonder of a happy rat dancing with ribbons. You just can't beat that, really. |
