I found this stuffed animal at a garage sale. The lady said her Aunt made him a long time ago. He is so precious. Odd shaped. Warn. Exotic because there are no others. No tag. Tight seems that have last so long. From a time when things were made with love one at a time. Individual things. With meaning. I see this animal as a symbol. Like a hieroglyph, but fuzzier.

About this painting: This image is titled, "One of a Kind". This is an acrylic painting on acid-free white Bristol board paper. Measuring approximately 4.5" x 4.5". This is from a new series of paintings I am working on. My "Garage Sale Series" is inspired by treasures I have found in local sales. In this case, an old stuffed animal.
