About this painting: Okay, maybe I crossed that line and made this little guy too cute.  I just love this piece.  The expressive painting perfectly suits the expressive rat.  He is celebrating the start of a brand new year.  Boy do we ever need a fresh start, huh?  I KNOW 2009 will be the year things turn around for many of us.

Note:  Some of the mat board and paper paintings do have stray bits of paint in the margins outside the picture plain.  These will generally not show once you have the piece matted, but if you are one of those folks who like pristine unmarked white, you may want to stick with the canvas paintings.
