About this painting: This is a beautiful little painting with rich rich color. The thing about fishing is not the fish. The magic is in the separation from land. The stillness and the looking back at a shoreline that cannot be seen when your feet are on the ground. The thing about fishing is the quiet and the gentle rocking and the being away from things for a while. Quiet. Don't disturb the fish.
